We procure from Minova a wide selection of rock bolts, soil nails, ground anchors, micropiles and meshes along with injection grouting, resins, pumpable & pourable grouts and crack injection systems.

Minova are committed to continually innovating products to meet sustainable and technical requirements. They were recently awarded an Environmental Product Declaration Certificate for their self-drilling micropiles in Europe.

Pumpable Cement Grouts

Their grouting solutions are used for anchoring, bolting, backfilling, crack and void filling and structural  support. Minova’s extensive portfolio ranges from standard pumpable to high-performance rapid-setting and high-strength grouts. Their diverse and comprehensive range of products is used for bolting applications for mining, construction and energy industries, but it is also be used for general strata injection and consolidation.

Their anchoring products include materials suitable for both manual and mechanised bolt grouting technologies and the cementitious products are supplied pre-blended and pre-packaged for ease of use. All grouts are formulated with an expansion compensation system and are resistant to shrinkage.

Pumpable/ Injectable Resins

Minova have led the development of for ultra-fast curing silicate and polyurethane one and two component resins for use in mainstream industry sectors. The products are used where time is of the essence, allowing contractors to speed up the traditional curing periods that cementitious grouting systems require.

Minova pumpable CarboThix resins, used with their SDA bolting systems, form their One Step Bolting System™. The immediate bonding of the resin makes it possible to load the bolts without leaving the borehole, making the process safer, significantly quicker and more efficient.

Encapsulated Grouts

LOKSET® | CAPCEM®

In order to simplify the grouting process, Minova developed their encapsulated grouts such as Lokset and Capcem, which are used in the mining, construction and energy sectors. Lokset is our innovative resin-based grouting capsule for bolting applications. Lokset is renowned for its reliability, fast setting times, high bonding strength and ease of use. The capsules are available in various sizes, with varying setting times and viscosity to give you the right level of flexibility.

Minova offer a comprehensive range of reinforcement and support solutions that control and stabilise rock in excavated or unstable areas. They provide solutions for active and passive methods of rock support in any situation.

Their products range from Steel and Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bolts, meshes and shotcretes.

Minova supply a very wide range of steel and GFRP accessories that work in combination with their  products to achieve the best outcomes. Also supplied are drill bits, couplings, meshes to plates and nuts and trusses.

SDA: Self-Drilling Anchor Bolts

SDA bolts [ soil nails ] provide reinforcement for the most unstable ground conditions like sand, gravel, silt, clay or fractured rock. The hollow bar attached to a sacrificial drill bit is used as a drill string and flushed with water, air or cement grout and it is fitted with a left- or right-hand, R- or T-thread. SDAs can be extended with couplers and connected to conventional rock drilling equipment. When used with grouts, including Carbothix or Celroc P, anchoring can be achieved in the most challenging rock & soil conditions

Resin Bolts Used with Minova Lokset capsules, the bolts are inserted into the borehole after the capsule is set in place. The rotation of the bolts mixes the resin. On setting of the resin (minutes) the full load bearing capacity of the bolt can be used.

GFRP: Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer Bolts Manufactured using the latest technologies offering high mechanical strength and long-term characteristics for anchoring, our GFRP products offer the lowest carbon footprint of any bolting product in the market with 66% lower CO2 emissions. High strength, lighter weight products improve logistics, ergonomics, safety, and productivity rates.

Vertical Access has installed 10,000’s of rock bolts, soil nails, self- drilling anchors bolts using Minova supplied materials.
