Roof Safety Systems
Vertical Access are approved MSA Latchways installers and have been carrying out Latchways installations for more than 20 years in the nuclear, education, arts & leisure health and heritage sectors. Following the revision of BS 7883:2019 Personal Fall Protection Equipment many historical systems no longer conform to the current requirements, the company has been at the forefront of carrying out fall protection system reviews and upgrading or renewing existing systems to ensure our clients are compliant.
Fall Protection
We supply and install fall protection systems for roofs and structures to help keep our clients compliant with the working-at-height regulations and to keep their workers safe. British and European Law requires that your height safety equipment and fall protection systems are inspected and tested at regular intervals by a competent person. Regular competent person checks ensure that your fall protection equipment is in good working order and compatible, thereby protecting workers who rely on it when working at height and extending its service life, adding financial value. Vertical Access can carry this out and provide reports and certificates.
Safe Working at Height
We have a track record of working closely with clients in railway environments, canal and reservoir infrastructure and on large civil engineering projects including bridge builds and replacements. We provide safe systems for working at heights by providing training, supervision and bespoke temporary working-at-height systems to suit every need.
Access Steps, Walkways & Ladders
Vertical Access specialises in the inspection, maintenance, and installation of access steps, walkways and roof ladders. Our expert team ensures that all access solutions are safe, reliable, and tailored to meet your specific needs.
Edge Protection
At the very top of the Working-at-Height Regulations Hierarchy of Measures are collective/ preventative measures. Installing guardrails is one of the most effective ways to mitigate the hazards of working at height. These can be installed on:

- Plant Roofs
- Roof Voids
