The Scope

Vertical Access has been instrumental in the historical development of Wi-Fi and mobile phone transmitters in several premier league football clubs throughout the country. Our latest project was being tasked with the installation of new 5G Transmitters across several Premier League Football Stadiums. The previous 3G & 4G Transmitters were to be removed and replaced by the newer 5G units.

The Challenge

The previous Transmitter units were placed across the stadia roof in difficult access locations, this meant the removal and installation of the units was going to be challenging. Additionally, over 2000m of cable was to be fixed. Wi-Fi and mobile phone transmitters need regularly updating to keep up with the ever-changing technology and increased levels of use, this meant we had to act fast and accurately to ensure the smooth-operation of the stadium's communication systems.
